Update on new blog
The lay out is completely finished now and I'm working on the site's logo. In my opinion the lay out's the best one I've ever designed, but I guess thats up to my visitors to decide. My new blog will not only contain information about Neverwinter Nights, but other RPG's and games that interest me as well. Finding a lot of new information about Neverwinter Nights is kinda hard right now, but I'm sure it will be a lot easier once Neverwinter Nights 2 is released.
It won't be long before I'll put some pages of my new blog on the internet. If that time comes, I will let you know!
Neverwinter Blog on NWVault!
A few days ago someone who replied on my spawn system post, suggested me to sent Maximus (from the NWVault) an e-mail: he might be interested in the list and post a little link to it. He did a lot more by adding Neverwinter Blog to his news section! I'm very happy to be on NWVault and it inspires me to work even harder on my weblog!
The lay-out of my new weblog is 90% completed and will soon be ready for a sneak preview! Thank you all for your interest!
New Neverwinter Nights 2 Movie!
My love towards Google and Video Google has reached another level when I found this Neverwinter Nights 2 movie. It was uploaded by bioware on Feb 16, 2006! Enjoy!
Some more Neverwinter Nigths 2...
Hardly anyone can wait for Neverwinter Nights 2 to be released, including me. I spent a lot of time on the net and the Neverwinter Forums to find out any little detail about this magnificent new RPG. Since there isn't a lot to publish of late, I'll try to keep you informed about the small details as best I can.
Obisidian is working on the Neverwinter Nights 2 website and offers the community to send in their own Persistent Worlds and Neverwinter Fansites to the following e-mail adress: nwn2@maverickpr.net.
Our goal is to make it easier to find your favorite site

Obsidian has created a topic on the NWN2 Forums to answer hundreds of questions raised by community members. It's a great post to go through, but you'll need some time to complete it...
So for February we're going to try and hone the process a bit and limit the responses to only one question. This months topic will be MONSTERS. So if you have one great question about monsters in NWN2 please fire away and we'll sort through them and post the answers next month.

While reading a topic on the NWN2 Forums about mounts, I came along this screenshot. I thought it would be worth posting, since it gives you a little insight in the new toolset, as well as a preview on some new furniture (which most of you have seen already).
I'd like to continue on the mount issue. I found this topic on the NWN2 Forums where a community members had a mount related question. Some replies from Obsidian Lead Designer Ferret Baudoin:
We haven't talked about horses in quite some time - any big thing that hasn't been mentioned for many moons I wouldn't necessarily count on even if we said X at Y time. Temper expectations.
The topic is quite old, yet answers the question if there will be any mounts, or if their at least on their schedule. Perhaps it will be updated.
If I find more interesting facts, I'll post them as soon as possible.
Review on Writing Contest
The Writing Contest has been closed for some time now, result: over 300 highly creative modules that need to be reviewed. Bioware asks the community to do so! A list of all the modules can be found here.
After you've played a contest module, we encourage you to go to that module's download page and rate it. Note, when voting for these modules, the most important factor to take into consideration is the quality of the writing. While good area design and neat scripting are a welcome bonus, the writing should remain the focus.
Play, read and vote!
(If you forgot the rules and specifications for the Writing Contest, I suggest you click here for details.)
Spawn systems
I've read a couple posts on the Neverwinter Forum showing quite some builders who can't seem to find a spawn system that suits their needs. Perhaps this post will help them out.
Dynamic Spawn System by Lord Delekhan
This is a dynamic spawning system, it is intended to replace the default game system and provide the module developer with an exacting level of control over spawns...
IFspawn by If_Only

Personally I prefer the basic Neverwinter Nights spawn system, but to have more options (such as these scripts offer) is interesting for people who wish to have more advanced spawn systems than the Neverwinter Nights spawn system can offer.
Creating a a new weblog
Next to Neverwinter Nights, webdesign is one of my daily occupations. Therefore I decided to create and design my own weblog; obviously still regarding Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2. There will be articles, just like this ones having, scripts, modules, updates on NWN matters and perhaps a forum. I decided to devote my time in creating that new and far better weblog instead of writing articles for this one. I will keep you informed on the progress of this new weblog.
Brother, where art thou comments?
To all who visit my weblog...
I am wondering who reads and perhaps likes my weblog. Until now I have been posting news, several interesting facts, bulletins, images and even video's about Neverwinter Nights on my weblog, though I haven't received a single comment. I must say it kind of discourages me continuing putting such an effort in the job as I used to do.
I have contacted many other websites related to Neverwinter Nights, asking them to put a link on their websites in exchange for a link on mine, though none have sent a reply yet. I know people who read a weblog usually like to read the articles on it and might not want to comment on the content, although I'm hoping some of you would like to do it anyways. It's possible for anyone to comment and you can stay anonymous if you prefer so.
Let me know my time is well spent by saying a simple "Hi" or "I like this" or perhaps "I don't like this". Thanks in advance.
